3D Laser Scanner

3D Laser scanning for architectural and archaeological monument surveying, is another domain to which Topomet has pioneered in Greece, by introducing the first 3D laser scanner in the country and by undertaking the first 3D laser scanning application projects. Since its purchase in June of 2002, the Callidus 3D laser scanner has been used in architectural and archaeological surveys and tunnel as - built and quantity surveys with huge success. 3D laser scanning is a method which has proved to be directly rivaling the close - range terrestrial photogrammetry in monument documentation, and a method by far more productive, reliable and effective than the conventional ones for tunnel as - built surveys.

The technical data specifications of Callidus Precision Systems 3D Laser Scanner owned by Topomet are available in the link below, in the manufacturer’ s web site.
